あの朝

あの凍えそうな静かな朝

君が言った言葉。

”哀しみがまだ足りないんだよ”

突き刺さるような冷たい空気の中で

やたらと現実味を帯びていた現実。

行き詰まっていた。

筆はアクリル絵の具がついたままカチカチに固まって

下色をつけただけのキャンバスたちは埃をかぶっていた。

ありとあらゆる悲しみを味わうだけ味わったら

後に残ったものは空虚だった。

空っぽだった私から表現されるものは何もなかった。

目の前に今の空腹を満たすだけのパンがあった。

それによって私は生かされていた。

涙など出るはずもなかった

空っぽなんだったんだから。

あの朝

寒い

寒い真っ白に澄んだ朝

一切れのパンが震える手から落ちていった。

ココロと胃に激痛が走った。

ひび割れていたダムが一気に崩壊するように

空っぽだったはずの私から

涙が溢れて出た。

すがるように泣いた。

君に

ではない。

そこにいるのは君だけだったんだけれど

少し離れたところからその様子を見ていた君が言ったあの言葉。

今も痛むココロと胃が

その意味を求めつづける。

少なくとも

空っぽだった私は

痛みを得た。
